  Is this new donation arrangement for real?

  just read a post on jwsurvey about the new donation arrangement.

  congregations are to pledge a monthly amount to be sent to the society to fund the building of assembly halls and kingdom halls.

  congregations who already have a loan from the society will no longer have to pay back the loan but the amount pledged should not be less than the current monthly repayments to the society.

  It's a wait and see game with nothing to lose. I've already lost all my family and friends so this is just pure entertainment. Not worth the blood pressure going through the roof. Nothing is in stone yet!

  I wouldn't lay it past the elders if that were to happen with them going over their income taxes. (I realize that it's not in stone yet so chill out and please no name calling) I remember an elderly sister who lived alone and all her kids are living in the US. The elder was taking her into the second school to discuss what she could afford to give for donations as well as to go over her will. Later on her one son came up to visit her and said to me how he couldn't understand how this elder was in charge of her will and bank account. He was mad. That sister is in a home for the elderly with both her legs off and no one to visit her. Not even that elder! It's all about the money and for sure I can see the society targeting old folks homes so they can prey on them next.

  i've had 2 jc's, both resulted in reproof.. but.....in church, the vicar asks us do reflect quitely on anything that we have done that we're not happy about and to ask for forgiveness in our heart.

  knowing that jesus will forgive us, if we are sorry and have faith in him.

  I still can't understand the hall we were in just gave a neighboring kingdom hall five thousand dollars out of our halls account and borrowed another fifteen thousand from society. A grand total of twenty thousand dollars was given to the neighboring hall so they could build a new hall. My question is what happened to the money they made selling their old hall and why did our hall donate twenty thousand to them? Fifteen of that borrowed from society to help another hall? Where's the money from the hall that was sold? Society owns all the halls and this is just not adding up.

  Ladies of a "certain age", advice please.

  The only thing that worked for me was natural progesterone that is made up by the natural compound pharmacist. It's horse urine and emu oil. You need a prescription from your family doctor for it. It takes a few weeks to get absorbed into your system. I wouldn't live with out it. The minute I put it on, I sleep like a baby.

  I read up on it. The book is named What Doctors Don't Tell You About Premenopause by Dr. Lee. I haven't had a night sweat since. There's another book out named What Doctors Don't Tell You About Menopause as well.

  My family doctor didn't even know how to write out the prescription so he called the pharmacist. Half a teaspoon per day is all you need. Just rub it on before going to bed. Out here compound pharmacists are few. I wish you the best.

  when i was first introducing myself to apostasy, i sincerley believed i could play both worlds.

  at the time i wasn't happy been a witness, and i didn't like the people in my congregation, but i thought i could just stumble along.

  with in 18 months of visiting my first apostate site, i had walked out of the kh.. what i have a hard time getting my head around are these people who can successfully play both worlds.

  The very first time I lurked on JWN was the last meeting I went to. It confirmed what my gut feeling was telling me all along but my jc after a year being out was the proof I needed. My heart goes out to those still in due to family.

  We were out in f/s one morning and the brother that was with us had the territory card. On the back it said mean dog and initialled by two elders. Did this brother listen? Noooo. He got bit when he approached the widow in her garden. As he turned away the dog bit him. He goes to the hospital and the humane society took the dog away. The dog was doing its job. We told the brother not to go in and he had two warnings on the back of the territory card. Again, my heart goes out only to the dog.

  Another time I'm out with three lazy lame-a$$ sisters and the driver tells me to do the next farm for there's a huge dog that comes after people. I looked at her and said no thanks, I just did the last house. She said but you have a big dog. I said knock yourself out. All three sat looking at the dog for five minutes and then had the nerve to say I had scared them from going to the door and took off. Idiots!!!! However, one of our studies did own three pitbulls and those dogs were as gentle as my rottis. Our dogs never ever run loose on the property unless we are with them. A dog is still an unpredictable animal and has to be respected as such.

  Here in Ontario, even if you have signs in your windows warning people you have a dog and someone breaks in, your dog will still be taken away. When we were training our rotti at obediece school, there were cops who were bringing their dogs in for training and we were told just that. They told us that someone had broken in to a home where the dog let him in but the guy couldn't leave. The dog had part of the guys leg shredded and yet it was the dog that was taken away. The guy that had broken into the home got to sue the owners. My heart goes out to the dog. He was just doing his job.

  We have beware signs on account of the dogs and we have every five feet around the property no trespassing signs for the jw's and hunters.

  Avoid Going back to the JW's - Educate Yourself about Mind Control

  i've talked with some good friends on the board about this before and we seem to be in agreement : one reason ( among many ) that some disfellowshipped jw's go back and return to the wt organization is because they are full of uneeded guilt or uneeded fear because they haven't educated themselves about how the wt society uses mind control tactics to deceive them into thinking they have " nowhere else to go " .

  i understand that some dfed ones may go back to the organization for family and friends- however- it's an exrecise in futility because once you learn the truth about the truth you cannot undo what you heard.

  so some may just go back and live a fake jw life to appease family- but just think of how that can damage a person's emotional and mental health playing the fake jw game the rest of their lives !

  Looks like they have found that kindgom. Boy, are they ever arrogant! Friday's menu of the kingdom is really being driven home to distract the 100 years of torture finding it.(changing new light) If it wasn't for all those lies over the years, people would have never found the kingdom. Now they are even interviewing those that know for sure they are in that kindgom. Next we'll see them bringing in huge thrones to give talks and interviews from.

  The Sunday menu where it reads Not One Word Has Failed reminded me of what the one elder said to me at my jc. He said that every future prediction that the FDS has foretold has come true. Not one has failed so that shows the GB would never fail us.

  Searcher, when I saw the new scrolls, I too right away thought of you. Guys, thank you for my morning chuckle.
